On average, permit examiners respond within 10 to 14 business days. Larger projects, like new home construction, can take 4 weeks to 6 weeks for the initial review.
Underpinning extends your foundation deeper to increase ceiling height. Benching creates a concrete bench inside the foundation, which is often used if a neighbour does not agree to a shared wall underpinning.
We make educated structural assumptions based on your home’s geometry and similar projects we have completed. These are explicitly noted on engineering drawings and verified by the contractor after demolition.
